Marcie Williams is the CEO of RKW Residential overseeing of all aspects of property management operations, new business development and strategy. She has more than 25 years of multifamily experience spanning owner/manager REITs, third-party management and start-up companies. Marcie has a track record of success at companies including Greystar, Camden Property Trust, Summit Properties and GID/Windsor.

Immediately prior to joining RKW Residential she served as Senior Director of Real Estate at Greystar, where she was responsible for management operations and new business development for more than 20,000 units across the Southeast.

Marcie holds several professional designations including Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS) and Certified Property Manager (CPM®). She has been a prolific contributor to the Greater Charlotte Apartment Association (GCAA) for which she served on the Board of Directors and acted as Board President. She was a founding member of the GCAA’s Education Foundation and served on the GCAA’s Education Advisory Council. She is the recipient of several industry awards from GCAA, including Volunteer of the Year, Instructor of the Year and The Lex Marsh Award (Lifetime Achievement). In 2021, Marcie was inducted into the AANC Hall of Fame.

Marcie has been honored with a Women in Business Award (2019) and recognized as a Most Admired CEO in both 2020 and 2021 by the Charlotte Business Journal. She was also recognized as a Multifamily Influencer by Globe St.

Marcie is a member of IREM and ULI and serves on the Membership committee for NMHC. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Joya Pavesi is the Executive Vice President of Marketing & Strategy for RKW Residential. She is a dynamic and passionate marketer with more than 17 years of multi-family marketing experience across Class A lease up, stabilized and value-add assets. In her executive role, Joya has directly contributed to RKW’s growth from 2,000 units to 35,000 units under management and consulting in under seven years. Joya’s has played a pivotal role in RKW’s expansion into new markets, helping to grow the company’s footprint across seven states.

Under her direction, RKW’s marketing team has built an award-winning reputation management platform earning the organization Top Ten placement in the J Turner Elite ORA Rankings along with numerous community-level awards. They have also been an industry leader in the adoption of forward-thinking technologies including AI-powered virtual leasing and self-guided tours.

Prior to joining RKW, Joya worked for Greystar and Camden Property Trust. Her specialties include marketing and brand strategy, customer experience and loyalty, digital marketing, social media, and reputation management. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a B.A. in Communications. She is recognized as an industry thought leader and conference speaker. Joya served on the Greater Charlotte Apartment Association Board of Directors and PR Committee and graduated from the Leadership Lyceum program.

John Zalkin is Executive Vice President of Client Services for RKW Residential, responsible for building key relationships and measuring the success of customer satisfaction at the executive level. He has two decades of South Florida real estate experience, working closely with major multifamily developers and operators to identify project sites, evaluate complex transactions, secure financing, assist with building design and oversee construction. Earlier in his career, John directed all property management functions for a vast portfolio of multifamily and commercial properties in Miami Beach, Fla. His significant real estate industry involvement includes serving as a member of the National Multi Housing Council (NMHC) and Urban Land Institute (ULI).

Gerardo Gato is Executive Vice President of Finance for RKW Residential. He has over 20 years of experience leading accounting and finance activities for several entities. Prior to joining RKW, Gerardo was the COO and CFO of Monument Capital Management, an A-Rod Corp subsidiary, which managed several real estate funds and various joint ventures with over $800M in real estate assets throughout the Southeast, Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions of the US. Previously, he also held CFO position at the Adler Group, one of South Florida's largest and most successful real estate companies with developments and holdings across all the real estate sectors, such as residential, retail, office and industrial. Gerardo received his Masters of Science in Real Estate and Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance from Florida International University. He is a licensed Florida real estate sales associate and an Argus Certified Professional.

Laura Rodriguez is a Senior Vice President for RKW overseeing operations and strategy for RKW's entire portfolio. She brings over 28 years of experience in the multifamily industry including serving as the EVP for Housing Trust Group, one of the larger affordable housing developers in Florida, for 4 years. She stewarded the launch of 21 new assets all leased up with perfect compliance. Laura's experience spans from garden, mid-rise and high-rise communities, both stabilized and lease-ups, conventional affordable and workforce housing.

As the Vice President of Human Resources for RKW Residential, Miglide Garcon leads talent acquisition, diversity and inclusion, cultural development, employee education and development, compensation and benefits, HR operations and employee relations. Miglide has overseen efforts that have resulted in: more effective and streamlined talent acquisition practices; a thoughtful, comprehensive diversity and inclusion program; and a more robust employee benefits package.​
