Jay Massirman is an experienced real estate professional whose career spans nearly three decades. He is the founder and managing director of RKW RESIDENTIAL and President of the Rivergate Companies a multifaceted investment firm headquartered in Miami, Florida. Since 1984, Jay has been involved in the financing, sales, development, construction, and property management of over 100,000 multifamily units and several million feet of commercial projects. Prior to forming Rivergate |Massirman Group in 2007, Jay spent 20 years with CBRE, a global real estate service provider. As a Vice Chairman he was a perennial top producer and actively involved in the sale and financing of more than 400 transactions including over 76,000 multifamily units with an aggregate value in excess of $10 billion.
Robert White is Founder and Managing Director of RKW RESIDENTIAL and an experienced accounting and finance professional. In 2004 he co-founded KW Property Management, which offers property management, accounting services and consulting for real estate assets throughout Florida, New York and the Bahamas for over 80,000 units with the help of over 1,100 employees. Previously he was an accountant at Campos & Stratis, an international accounting firm specializing in litigation and insurance support, and at Berkowitz Dick Pollard & Brant, where he focused on accounting and auditing services. Robert received his Master of Science in Taxation and his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the University of Miami. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Paul Kaplan, Founder and Managing Director of RKW RESIDENTIAL, is an accomplished accounting and finance professional. In 2004 he co-founded KW Property Management, which offers property management, accounting services and consulting for real estate assets throughout Florida, New York and the Bahamas for over 80,000 units with the help of over 1,100 employees. Prior to founding KW Property Management, he was with Berkowitz Dick Pollack & Brant as an auditor. He began his career with Arthur Anderson, the international accounting and consulting firm. Paul received his MBA from The University of Miami and his Bachelor of Business Administration from Tulane University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also CAM licensed since 2004.
Marcie Williams is the President of RKW RESIDENTIAL and is the overall leader of all aspects of multifamily property management operations, new business development and strategy. Prior to joining RKW RESIDENTIAL she served as Senior Director of Real Estate at Greystar, where she was responsible for the operations and new business development in North and South Carolina and select assignments across the Southeast. Her portfolio included over 20,000 units from lease ups to renovations and repositions. She has over 20 years of multifamily experience from companies such as Summit Properties and Camden Property Trust. Marcie is active in the community and holds several professional designations including Certified Apartment Manager (CAM®), Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS) and Certified Property Manager (CPM®). Marcie is an active member of the Greater Charlotte Apartment Association (GCAA) and is the recipient of several industry awards from GCAA, including Manager of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Instructor of the Year and The Lex Marsh Award (Lifetime Achievement). She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Marcie is a member of IREM and ULI.
Sr. Vice President
Holly Casper is the Vice President of Operations for the Carolinas for RKW RESIDENTIAL. She is responsible for overall property operations, execution of corporate strategy and business development. Prior to joining the team, Holly served as a District Manager for Camden Property Trust. During her six-year career with Camden, Holly acted as the lead for community repositions, new construction lease ups, budget preparation, and dispositions. She possesses an in-depth knowledge of the corporate housing industry with a 5 year tenure working for Oakwood and Post Properties. She holds both CAM and CAPS designations. Holly is a board member of the Greater Charlotte Apartment Association and has served on the GCAA Programs Committee for the past four years. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Fashion Merchandising from the University of Maryland
Regional Vice President
Natalie Edeburn is the Regional Vice President for RKW RESIDENTIAL. She is responsible for overall property operations, execution of corporate strategy and business development. Prior to joining the team, Natalie served as Vice President for Pegasus Residential. During her almost three-years with Pegasus, Natalie transitioned 36 properties into the company’s portfolio. Natalie covered assets in TX, FL, GA, NC, SC and TN. Prior to joining Pegasus, Natalie spent nine-years with Greystar and was the Director of Real Estate for the Charlotte market when she left. She holds both CAPS and her North Carolina Broker’s License. Natalie is also involved on the Greater Charlotte Apartment Association.
Johnny De La Espriella
Regional Vice President
Johnny is the Regional Vice President for RKW RESIDENTIAL managing the Florida Operations. He brings over 14 years of diverse property management experience. Prior to joining the team, Johnny oversaw operations for a 1,500+ unit portfolio consisting of luxury high-rise and garden communities in South Florida with Camden Property Trust. He has a proven track record of exceeding performance and overseeing complicated projects, including the redevelopment of 2 high-rise properties. Johnny's experience also expands into condo and HOA management with KW Property Management & Consulting where he was responsible for 2,500+ units consisting of 13 properties. Johnny was instrumental in the startup and turnover of 3 new construction high-rises and 4 single family home owner associations.
He is an active member of the South East Florida Apartment association, and served on the Board of Directors from 2015 to 2016. He also chaired the Membership Committee in 2015 where he led the association to reach a record 100,000+ units in membership. Johnny holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Business Administration from Florida International University and a Community Association License in Florida.
Regional Vice President
Michelle O’Brien is a Regional Vice President for RKW RESIDENTIAL responsible for overall property operations, execution of corporate strategy and business development. Michelle possesses more than 10 years of experience in the multifamily industry and has worked with senior, mixed income, affordable, mixed use and conventional housing communities.
Prior to joining RKW, Michelle worked as a Regional Director for WRH Realty Services. She was responsible for the overall Operations of a portfolio across North Carolina. Prior to her role as a Regional Director, Michelle was responsible for training and operational support for a portfolio of managers and their teams spanning across Tennessee, Atlanta and the Carolinas. Michelle began her career with Crosland executing the successful lease up of numerous senior and affordable properties. Michelle is an active member of the Greater Charlotte Apartment Association and serves on numerous committees.
Director of Facilities
Cesar Rosas is the Director of Facilities of RKW RESIDENTIAL. Prior to joining the team, Cesar oversaw training and maintenance operations for a portfolio consisting of luxury high-rise and garden communities across the East Coast. He brings over 18 years of multifamily experience from companies such as Archstone Communities, Camden Property Trust and Mill Creek Residential, and has a proven track record of exceeding performance and overseeing complex projects, including lease-ups, repositions and turnover of new construction high-rise. Cesar holds a General Certificate of Engineering from the N.A.P.E Institute and is an active member and Proctor for the ESCO Institute and the National Swimming Pool Foundation.
Senior Regional Manager - Florida
Lizzette Herron is a Senior Regional Manager for RKW RESIDENTIAL overseeing operations in Orlando. She brings 24 years of leadership and customer service experience in the multifamily industry.
Prior to joining RKW, Lizzette started her career with Summit Properties, which merged with Camden Property Trust in 2005. Most recently, as District Manager for Camden, she oversaw communities in both the Orlando and Tampa markets. She managed repositions, stabilized and lease up communities in garden and mid-rise styles. For 13 years, she was the Secretary on the Board of the Hunter’s Creek Community Association.
Senior Regional Manager – Florida
Yanira Herrera is a Senior Regional Manager for RKW RESIDENTIAL overseeing operations for a portfolio of communities throughout Florida. She brings over 10 years of experience in the multifamily industry working with companies including Riverstone Residential & Bell Partners. Prior to joining RKW, Yanira was a Senior Manager for Monogram Residential Trust. Her experience spans from garden, mid-rise and high-rise communities, both stabilized and lease ups.
Regional Manager - Florida
Clark Pritchett, Regional Manager for the Southeast Florida Division, joined RKW Residential in 2019. He brings over twelve years of experience in the multi-family industry. Prior to RWK Residential, Clark worked as a Regional Portfolio Manager overseeing nearly 2,000 units within the Bozzuto portfolio in Washington, D.C. Clark specializes in class-A mixed-use communities and played a key role in opening and completing the lease-up of five communities prior to relocating the SE Florida. As a General Manager, Clark led the lease up of The Apartments at CityCenter, a 458-unit mixed-use community which is part of a ten-acre development including luxury living space, office buildings, and high-end shopping. He also held the role of Assistant Property Manager for Senate Square and Park Place Van Dorn. During this time, Clark was honored with the Assistant Property Manager of the Year Award at the company’s annual management awards ceremony.
Clark's varied experience provides an in-depth background in operational components such as determining property and maintenance budgets, streamlining marketing initiatives, maintaining resident retention, and managing delinquency.
Regional Manager - Florida
Elizabeth Vaccaro joined the RKW RESIDENTIAL leadership team in 2018 as a Regional Manager for a portfolio of properties throughout South Florida and Jacksonville. She brings over 17 years of experience in the multifamily and property management industry. Her experience ranges from garden, mid-rise, and high-rise communities. Prior to joining RKW RESIDENTIAL she worked as a Community Manager for companies such as Summit Properties, Camden Property Trust, and AMLI Residential. Elizabeth’s experience also expands into condo and HOA management with KW Property Management and Consulting and First Service Residential. Elizabeth is a licensed Community Association Manger (CAM) and Real Estate Sales Associate. She has a proven track record for providing excellent service, building and retaining exceptional teams, and superior leadership skills. She is a recipient of several industry and company awards such as Community Manager of the Year for both the South East Florida Apartment Association and her former companies, Community of the Year, Office Team of the Year, and Overcoming Adversity. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree from Florida International University.
Regional Manager - Carolinas
Jennifer Ipock is a Regional Manager for RKW RESIDENTIAL overseeing operations for a portfolio of communities throughout the Carolinas. She brings 16 years of experience in the multifamily industry working with companies including Easlan Management and Weinstein Properties. Prior to joining RKW, Jennifer was a Senior Manager for Greystar, acting as the onsite liaison for key institutional clients including JP Morgan and Passco. Her experience spans from garden to midrise communities, both stabilized and in lease up. Jennifer currently serves on the Programs and Operations Committee for the Greater Charlotte Apartment and is pursuing her CAPS designation.
Regional Manager – Carolinas and Missouri
Stephanie Garris is a Regional Manager for RKW RESIDENTIAL overseeing operations for a portfolio of communities throughout the Carolinas. Highly skilled, she brings over 18 years of experience in the multifamily industry. Prior to joining RKW, Stephanie previously worked with Camden Property Trust. She has a proven track record of exceeding performance, building exceptional teams and superior leadership skills. Her passion and expertise range from mid-rise to garden style communities with vast knowledge in lease ups and repositions. Stephanie is an active member of the Greater Charlotte Apartment Association.
Regional Manager - Carolinas
Nahleena Moore is a Regional Manager for RKW RESIDENTIAL overseeing operations for a portfolio of communities throughout the Carolinas. With over 13 years of experience in the multifamily industry, she has a proven track record of success spanning garden to mid-rise communities, both stabilized and in lease-up. Prior to joining RKW, Nahleena worked as a Regional Manager for Greystar. She has been nominated for and awarded multiple regional awards for outstanding property and personal performance. She holds her CAM and CAPS designation as well as her North Carolina and South Carolina Broker’s License. Nahleena is also a graduate of the Greater Charlotte Apartment Association’s Leadership Lyceum Program, and currently serves as committee member for the Association.
Regional Manager - Carolinas
Shawna is a Regional Manager for RKW Residential overseeing operations for a portfolio of communities throughout the Carolinas. She has over 17 years of experience in the multi-family housing industry. In 2001, Shawna started as a leasing professional with the Hanover Company and quickly grew into a management role. During Shawna's career she has managed successful new construction, lease-ups as well as stabilized communities. She gained valuable experience by working with REIT's. In addition, she has worked with developers and institutional clients. Throughout her career she has effectively overseen major capital expense projects to preserve, maintain and add value to the communities. Shawna has been instrumental on several dispositions including the sale of Hawfield Farms to Bell Partners for $50.5 million. Shawna has been recognized as a top RPM for consistently exceeding budgeted occupancy and NOI.
Shawna earned her BA of Business Administration with a focus in Trust Management and Financial Planning as well as a Minor in Marketing from Campbell University. Shawna has served as a member of the GCAA Outreach Committee, volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and volunteer for Samaritan House. She received the UDR Certified Apartment Manager designation in 2014, has had her CAM Designation since 2003 and NC Real Estate Broker’s License since 2003.
Regional Manager - North Carolina
Susanne Herring is a Regional Manager for RKW Residential overseeing operations for a portfolio in North Carolina. Susanne graduated in 2008 from Virginia Tech with a degree in Property Management. She began her career in the multifamily industry straight out of college as a Leasing Consultant for Camden Property Trust in Charlotte, NC. During her time with Camden she worked at communities undergoing rehabs, lease ups, as well as stabilized communities which also included a promotion to Assistant Manager. Susanne was RKW’s first Property Manager in the Charlotte market in 2016 and was quickly promoted to dual-site Property Manager within her first year. Soon after, she received another promotion to manage a 473-unit garden style community which followed her most recent promotion to Regional Manager this year.
Susanne has a passion for the multifamily industry and has loved being a part of the RKW family for the past three years. She is from Virginia Beach, Virginia, has lived in Charlotte for over eleven years, and enjoys traveling home during the summer to soak up the sun and spend time with her family. Susanne’s major strengths include budgets and financials, leading by example, client and resident relations, and having fun through it all!
Sr. Vice President of Client Services
Stephanie Brown, SVP of Client Services, is responsible for new business development nationally for RKW Residential. Prior to joining the firm, Stephanie served as Director of Business Development for The Rainmaker Group, where she was responsible for software sales to national accounts and Institutions nationwide.
Stephanie also has over 20 years of multifamily property management experience with companies such as Riverstone Residential Group and Trammell Crow Residential Services, where she was also named partner. Stephanie is active in the community and serves on the regional board for Apartment Life in Orlando. She has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Connecticut, majoring in Finance with a minor in Real Estate Finance. Stephanie has held both a broker and appraiser license in the State of Connecticut.
John Duffy is the Controller for RKW RESIDENTIAL and is responsible for all aspects of corporate accounting and the direction of property accounting. He holds his CPA and brings 16 years of accounting experience working with some of the top leaders in the real estate development, construction and property management industries – both residential and commercial. Prior to joining RKW RESIDENTIAL, he was an audit manager specializing in real estate with Deloitte & Touche, the international accounting and consulting firm. John received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Stockton University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Vice President of Marketing + Strategy
Joya Pavesi is the Vice President of Marketing + Strategy for RKW RESIDENTIAL. She is a dynamic and passionate marketer with more than 10 years of multi-family marketing experience. Prior to joining the team, Joya served as Senior Marketing Manager for Greystar over the Carolinas. She was responsible for the marketing of more than 30,000 stabilized units and 10,000 units in the new development pipeline. She also served as Regional Marketing Director for 10 years at Camden Property Trust, overseeing more than 12,000 units across North Carolina, Northern Virginia, Maryland and Washington, DC. During her tenure with Camden, Joya supported stabilized and new development communities in her region, including the lease up of multiple high rise communities in DC. Her specialties include marketing and brand strategy, customer experience and loyalty, interactive marketing, social media, and reputation management. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a B.A. in Communications. She served on the Greater Charlotte Apartment Association Board of Directors and PR Committee from 2010 -2014 and graduated from the Leadership Lyceum program.
Vice President of Client Services
John Zalkin is Vice President of Client Services for RKW Residential, responsible for building key relationships and measuring the success of customer satisfaction at the executive level. He has two decades of South Florida real estate experience, working closely with major multifamily developers and operators to identify project sites, evaluate complex transactions, secure financing, assist with building design and oversee construction. Earlier in his career, John directed all property management functions for a vast portfolio of multifamily and commercial properties in Miami Beach, Fla. His significant real estate industry involvement includes serving as Chair of AIPAC Florida’s Real Estate Division and as a member of the National Multi Housing Council (NMHC) and Urban Land Institute (ULI).
Vice President of Human Resources
Miglide Garcon is the Vice President of Human Resources for RKW RESIDENTIAL, directing a company of 300+ team members. Miglide Garcon oversees human resources, payroll, and benefits. Prior to joining the team, Miglide served as the Director of Human Resources and Payroll for Jungle Island managing and leading 700+ team members for almost 9 years. Additionally, she is an HR consultant. Her specialties include Retirement Employee Relations, Labor Law Compliance, EEOC, AP/AR, Unemployment, Planning, Worker’s Compensation, Training, Tax Credit, Salary Survey, Recruiting, OSHA, HIPPA, HRIS, Litigation Investigation, and FMLA. In 2010, she received a Microsoft Certified Application Specialist (MCAS) accreditation and a certification in Project Management and SPHR from MDCC. Miglide graduated from Saint Thomas University with a B.A. in Computer Information System and her Master’s degree in Accounting. She also received her MBA in Human Resources Management from American Intercontinental University. She is currently pursuing her DHA at Capella University. Miglide is an active Member of SHRM and a Certified Public Notary. In her spare time, she participates in community outreach by feeding the homeless and coordinating toy drives for non-profit organizations.
Digital Marketing Manager
As Digital Marketing Manager, Sarah Randolph manages all digital platforms for RKW Residential. She is responsible for developing innovative strategies to ensure the success of clients business objectives, specifically focused on generating qualified leads for each community. Sarah’s expertise include SEO, SEM, Web Design Strategy, Content Strategy, Social Media and Digital Analytics.
Throughout her career, Sarah has crafted marketing programs for companies from a wide variety of industries that help build brand awareness and increase revenue. Before joining RKW, Sarah worked as a Digital Project Manager to build and manage a strategic online presence for companies around the US including TownSquare Interactive. Sarah received her B.A. in Communications from Towson University.
As Marketing Manager for RKW, Lindsi Flynn is responsible for the execution of marketing tactics for a portfolio of communities in the Carolinas, Missouri and Virginia. Lindsi assists in the development, launch and training of marketing programs designed to generate qualified traffic, elevate the resident experience and aid in retention. Lindsi leads the Social Media platform for RKW, and hosts a bi-weekly video series, Love it by Lindsi, which celebrates social successes, and provides tips and tricks for overall improvement across the portfolio.
Lindsi's marketing background spans five years, including both digital and agency experience. Her work includes brand development and strategic marketing for large media channels and professional athletes.
Cynthia is the Marketing Manager for RKW’s Florida portfolio of communities. She brings over eight years of experience in marketing and media strategy across a variety of industries, including real estate, home services and higher education. Prior to joining RKW, she designed and implemented digital marketing campaigns for over 50 home service companies throughout the U.S., Canada and Australia. She also served as a Special Projects Manager at Miami-based public relations firm Zakarin Martinez Public Relations, where she helped oversee local and national media strategy for some of South Florida’s top developers.
Cynthia is a Miami native and proud FIU Panther who graduated from Florida International University in 2008.
Business Support Manager
Christine Stone is the Business Support Manager for RKW overseeing all Operations platforms. In this multi-faceted role, she is responsible for evaluating and improving operational policies and procedures across the entire portfolio. She was initially brought on board as the very first Leasing Consultant in the Carolinas region where she spent a year and a half on-site assisting with the stabilization and maintenance of nearly 300 units spanning three properties before transitioning to her current role. Prior to joining RKW, she spent four years with CWS Apartment Homes servicing over 700 units as a dual-site Leasing Consultant.
